Once a month we host recreational activities that engage kids and encourage teamwork. In July, we partner with Boys Town to offer a week-long residential, sports oriented summer camp that allows blind or visually impaired children to just be kids.

If you are blind or visually impaired and want to go on a bike ride, this is your club. Experience the wind gliding across your face as your heart races and your legs pedal during a tandem bike ride. You will be partnered with a sighted volunteer who will help steer you on the bike trail and into an overwhelming sense of freedom. Rides take place monthly, weather permitting.
Ever heard of Goalball? It’s a paralympic sport designed specifically for the visually impaired. It’s played indoors with all participants wearing sleep shades — even the sighted players. Your goal is to roll a ball with a bell attached past the defender’s line. It’s fun, competitive and gets you moving.
Learn to chip, putt and swing from local golf pros who’ve been instructed on how to guide visually impaired golfers in the game. This clinic is designed for all skill levels, from those who’ve always wanted to play, to those who are ready to take their clubs out of storage and onto the course.
You don’t need sight to make friends, have fun and knock down a few pins. Our bowling league is open to blind and visually impaired individuals who would like to join a great group of people cheering on one another, though there might be a little friendly competition. No bowling experience (or bowling shirts) necessary.
